Launching our summer reading challenge – the kids’ edition. Read books in the categories we have selected and go into the draw for a special Baka Books prize in January. Come and pick up your entry form in store or download it here!
HOW TO PLAY
- When you finish a book, write its name in the square that matches, and the date you finished it.
- Complete as many squares as possible and bring it back to Baka Books by January 24, 2026.
- You can swap a book you have read for any equivalent priced book in our preloved section- so a yellow sticker book can be swapped for another yellow sticker book and so on.
- Before you return the form to Baka Books, answer the questions on the back of the form.
- Once you return your form, you will go into the draw to win a Baka Books prize, to be drawn on January 26th!

- We think any kids aged from 5 to 16 will enjoy this challenge
- I don’t live in Suva. Can I play along?
- Sure, download the form and email it back to us before January 24.
- I can’t get books from Baka Books
- Have you got a library nearby? Check if there is a public library nearby Library Services – Ministry of Education
- Do you have to pay to play?
- No, entering is free.
- Can adults participate?
- Not in this competition, but we are planning a similar reading challenge for older readers and adults soon.
