Thank You, Forest

By Johanna Venho & Sanna Pellicioni

In her green notebook, Spruce writes and draws when she’s in the forest behind her house. She knows everything about the forest- its dark caves, trolls and secret elf doors.

One day, big machines and people in overals arrive and start to cut down the trees and crush the elves beneath them. Spruce needs to do something before it’s too late. Then she meets a mysterious boy with green eyes and twigs in his hair. He knows secrets about the forest too – Can they save it together?

Thank you, Forest is a  gentle, magical tale from Finland about belonging in nature and the power of imagination.
